The IRKASK1 Chainsaw Safety Helmet combines a protective helmet, full-face visor and hearing protection in one integrated PPE set. It is designed for forestry, landscaping, gardening, construction and maintenance work where the operator may be exposed to flying wood chips, particles and high machinery noise.
The helmet features a durable HDPE shell, while the clear polycarbonate visor provides broad face coverage without significantly restricting visibility. Integrated earmuffs offer a stated noise-reduction rating of SNR 26dB, making the set suitable for use around chainsaws, brushcutters, wood chippers and other noisy equipment when selected as part of an appropriate workplace risk assessment.
Its 3-in-1 configuration keeps the helmet, visor and ear defenders together, reducing preparation time and helping prevent individual protective components from being forgotten. The visor and earmuffs can be positioned as required during different working stages.

Instructions for Use

1. Inspect the helmet shell, visor, fittings and earmuffs before every use.
2. Do not use the set if any component is cracked, damaged, loose or heavily worn.
3. Adjust the internal harness so the helmet fits securely and comfortably.
4. Ensure the helmet remains stable when the head is moved in different directions.
5. Lower the visor fully before beginning work involving flying chips or particles.
6. Position both earmuffs firmly over the ears before operating noisy machinery.
7. Check that hair, spectacles or clothing do not prevent the earmuff cushions from sealing correctly.
8. Use the helmet only as part of the complete PPE required for the task.
9. Clean the visor regularly to maintain clear visibility.
10. Replace scratched, cracked or damaged protective components.
11. Store the helmet in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, chemicals and excessive heat.

Safety Information

• This helmet set does not provide protection against direct contact with a moving chainsaw chain.
• Always wear the additional chainsaw PPE required for the task, including suitable eye protection, gloves, protective legwear and footwear.
• Do not modify, drill, paint or attach unauthorised accessories to the helmet.
• Do not use solvents or aggressive chemicals to clean the shell or visor.
