BB603 — High Strength Oil Tolerant Retaining Compound
BB603 is a high strength anaerobic retaining compound for the permanent bonding of cylindrical assemblies including bearings, gears, splines, pulleys and keyways. Oil tolerant and effective on lightly contaminated parts, it cures without pre-cleaning and resists loosening from shock, vibration and thermal cycling. Fixture time under 15 minutes; full cure in 24 hours. Operating range: -55°C to +150°C.
BB270 — High Strength Threadlocker
BB270 prevents loosening of bolts, nuts and studs under vibration and shock. With a breakaway strength of over 30Nm on steel and compatibility across all metals — including stainless steel, aluminium and plated surfaces — it delivers a permanent, reliable lock on critical assemblies. Disassembly is possible by heating to 300°C, making it practical for applications where future serviceability is required. Full cure: 12 hours. Operating range: -55°C to +180°C.
BB648 — Low Viscosity High Strength Retaining Compound
BB648 is designed for cylindrical fitting parts where high temperature performance is non-negotiable. Its low viscosity allows it to penetrate tight clearances for maximum contact and bond strength, while tolerating minor surface contamination from oils and protection fluids. Suited to gearbox shafts, electric motor rotors, bearing outer races and industrial couplings. Fixture time under 5 minutes with activator; full cure in 2–6 hours. Operating range: -55°C to +180°C.
BB243 — Medium Strength Oil Tolerant Threadlocker
BB243 is formulated for direct application onto as-received parts - no pre-cleaning required, even where an oily film or light contamination is present. It seals and locks threaded fasteners against vibration and shock, and disassembles cleanly with standard hand tools when required. Suitable for diesel and petrol environments. Ideal for gearbox bolts, driveshaft fasteners and general workshop maintenance. Full cure: 24 hours at 20°C. Operating range: -55°C to +180°C.
BB222 — Low Strength Threadlocker
BB222 is a low strength threadlocker for small fasteners, set screws and fragile alloys where higher strength locking would risk fracture on disassembly. It seals threads against leakage and corrosion, minimises loosening through vibration and releases cleanly with standard hand tools. Suitable for all metals including passive substrates such as stainless steel. Applications include automotive, machinery, electronics and precision instruments. Full cure: 12 hours at 20°C. Operating range: -55°C to +150°C.
